Johnny Depp Couldn’t Hide Laughter After Amber Heard’s Lawyer Objects To His Own Question

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s trial is practically unavoidable. The numerous antecedents, including past texts of Depp telling a friend about f**king the burnt corpse of Amber to when the Aquaman actress deposited a human fecal matter on the actor's side of their bed, are literally too good, just to PASS.

Well, it’s no news that Depp is quite a strange guy, occasionally cracking jokes amid his cross-examination and always calm when recounting past incidents.

Yet again, the Fantastic Beasts actor and Heard’s lawyer Benjamin Rottenborn has hit the news over an awkward situation. Depp has been spotted laughing out loud at Rottenborn after the attorney objected to his own question during Virginia's $50million defamation lawsuit.

As Ben King, the actor’s house manager took the stand; he recalled where Depp’s finger had been severed, which resulted in Heard’s lawyer, Rottenborn, halting his own question citing a “hearsay objection.”

“Wait, you asked the question,” the judge instantly interrupted. Confused, Rottenborn then uttered ‘oh’ before proceeding with the question, but then the whole courtroom had busted into laughter. Depp was equally entertained by the hilarious mistake, and indeed, thousands of people online have since dub the incident as a comedy gold moment from the courtroom.

This isn’t the only time ‘hearsay evidence’ has confused the defamation lawsuit. When the 58-Year-Old actor spoke about a chef making Heard’s favorite Mexican meal for her birthday, he caught himself and said, “That’s hearsay, I guess.”

To this, the judge responded: “I’m not sure it’s even being offered for the truth of the matter.” Depp's lawyers were overheard saying: “He got it,” and the Hollywood actor himself said while smiling: “I’m learning.” However, Depp’s lawyer, Camille Vasquez, asked him what was his response when Heard told him: “Tell the world, Johnny, tell them I Johnny Depp, a man, am a victim too of domestic violence?”

Depp replied: “I said yes, I am.”

This comes after the court heard recordings of Depp hurling profanities at Heard. So far, he hasn’t denied allegations of cussing and horrible text messages about Amber Heard but maintains he never physically hurt her. Instead, Depp allegedly ran away from Heard whenever things escalated because he was very familiar with her violent nature.
