Jimmy Kimmel recently made a quip about Marjorie Taylor Greene on his show after she tweeted that GOP Sens. Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, and Mitt Romney were pro-pedophiles for saying they would vote to confirm Judge Kentanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court.
Greene’s comment referenced claims by other Republicans that Jackson had previously allowed s*x offenders off the hook with lenient sentences.
So during his monologue, Kimmel referred to Greene as a Klan mom and said she was distraught by her fellow Republicans' decision to confirm Jackson. He then cracked: “Wow, where is Will Smith when you really need him.” Greene has said she had reported Kimmel to Capital police after the host joked Smith should slap her.

Greene (R-Ga), the U.S. Rep, tweeted that Kimmel’s joke, which referenced Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars, amounted to a threat of violence.

It read: “ABC, this threat of violence against me by @jimmykimmel has been filed with the @CapitolPolice.” Reacting to the outrage and subsequent police report, Kimmel has again fired back on Twitter as he wrote: “Officer? I would like to report a joke.” Greene then told Kimmel it’s not a joke, claiming he purposely incited his audience to threaten her..@ABC, this threat of violence against me by @jimmykimmel has been filed with the @CapitolPolice. pic.twitter.com/nxYX1LF2jK

However, during Jackson’s Supreme Court confirmation hearings [pictured with Sen. Susan Collin], some Republican lawmakers accused her of being too lenient as a trial judge.

But she told lawmakers that she ensured the experiences of victimized kids were represented in her sentencing and noted that Federal sentencing law doesn’t impose the highest possible penalty for such sickening and egregious crime, among other factors. However, the world awaits the action of Capitol Police on Kimmel.
