Jennifer Aniston has been branded a nepotism baby after she remarked how people find fame through the internet. The 53-Year-Old, who sat with America star Sebastian Stan in an Actors on Actors interview for Variety, claimed stars like Paris Hilton are diluting Hollywood’s job and are famous for basically doing nothing.
Notably, the subject matter had been hinged on Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s s*x tape leak in the 90s, with Sebastian recently playing the musician in a Hulu series.

But as they discussed internet culture at the time of the leak, the “Along Came Polly” star said to 39-Year-Old Stan: “It was right at the time when the internet shaped a new culture about people becoming famous. This thing of people becoming famous for basically nothing but yet having these incredible careers. And then women’s reputation. I mean Paris Hilton, Monica Lewinsky.”

Stan went on: “When you look back at the 90s, you do see how many things have happened in that decade. Even the O.J Simpson thing was the beginning of 24-hour news.” In response, Jennifer added: “I always say I feel so lucky that we got a little taste of the industry before it became what it is today, which is different, more streaming services, more people. You’re famous from TikTok, you’re famous from YouTube, you’re famous from Instagram. It’s sort of almost like, diluting the actor’s job.”

Jennifer’s comments didn’t appear to sit well with many people as they pointed out she was the daughter of two great actors – Nancy Dow and John Aniston, known for his role as Victor Kiriakis in Days of Our Lives.
Many people argued if her remark stands considering her background, while some people defended the availability of streaming services as they served as platforms for many to showcase their talents and build their fame.
Someone pointed out how actors used to be cast because they had a look, regardless of their acting skills.
