Jameela Jamil has reacted to Twitter's agreement to sell the platform for $52.40 per share, or a total of $44 billion, to the Tesla CEO. Elon Musk, who's always been tweeting about free speech - or the lack thereof - made his offer clear to Twitter that he's not ready for a back and forth.
Their announcement has led to people voicing their opinions on the changing ownership, with some claiming they're ready to leave the platform.
"The Good Place" actress wrote her last tweet on the platform, "Ah he got twitter."

Accompanied with a series of selfies with her pet dog Barold, she continued, "I fear this free speech bid is going to help this hell platform reach its final form of totally lawless hate, bigotry, and misogyny. Best of luck."Before this "final tweet," she had shared that the crowd might cheer when she finally left.
"One good thing about Elon buying Twitter is that I will *FINALLY* leave and stop being a complete menace to society on here," her tweet read. "So it’s win win for you all really.
The actress has been slammed after she previously defended Will Smith's slap at the Oscars and now, people are making scathing comments in quote retweets towards her negativity at free speech bids.
Musk mocked on those who've voiced their distaste at his free speech bid and tweeted, "The extreme antibody reaction from those who fear free speech says it all."

He further clarified, "By “free speech,” I simply mean that which matches the law. I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law."
"If people want less free speech, they will ask government to pass laws to that effect. Therefore, going beyond the law is contrary to the will of the people."
