The 60-year-old comedian has recently talked about the 'what ifs' had he been the host of the 94th Academy Awards. After the famous slap landed on Chris Rock's face by Oscars winner Will Smith, the world has been split between defending Jada, who's suffering from alopecia, and the comedian host for receiving a blow to the face on live TV. The masses have judged that the 53-year-old actor crossed the line for not being able to take the joke and wondered how it would've gone if former Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais had done it.
“People were going, ‘What would have happened if Ricky Gervais had been doing it [hosting the Oscars]?’” said the man during a recent stand-up session.
He continued with his materials at London’s Highgate, “Well, nothing, as I would not have made a joke about his wife’s hair. I would have made a joke about her boyfriend.”
Ricky was referring to August Alsina, with whom Jada admitted having an "entanglement" with. She had done this on the Red Table Talk show, and viewers had slammed her for "airing dirty laundry" out in public and sending Will on edge for the past few years since it came out.

And while applauding the "diverse and progressive" show, he didn't forget about one demographic that's continued to be neglected: poor people.Labeled as even "crass" for his straightforward jokes that are often offensive, the man continued to roll on with his sense of humor that the masses enjoy because the harsh truth can be funny!

When asked if he could've kept tweeting throughout the show, he really sticks to the personality he's always had when it comes to every award show that takes three grueling hours: "I'll be asleep," tweeted the man.
And for the finale, Gervais quipped that his career would be how his hosting would end.

Jada has been open about struggling with alopecia and coming to terms with it. Hers fall under the autoimmune disorder category, not to be mistaken with the common pattern balding that is not caused by a medical condition.
Gervais never tones down his jokes, and while it could be funny for some, others think he's always over the top. What do you think?
