Emily Ratajkowski Accuses Robin Thicke Fondled Her During ‘Blurred Lines’

In 2013, Emily Ratajkowski appeared alongside Robin Thicke in Blurred Lines music videos. And now, she has disclosed in her new book (to be released on 19th October) that the singer Thicke fondled her during the shoot, cupping her bare breasts. The 30-year-old admitted she felt the foreignness of a stranger’s hand and wasn’t downright uncomfortable.

Emily Ratajkowski alleged Robin Thicke groped her amid filming his hit song Blurred Lines.

The book is titled: “My Body,” and in it, Emily wrote: “Suddenly, out of nowhere, I felt the coolness and foreignness of a stranger’s hands cupping my bare breasts from behind. I instinctively moved away, looking back at Robin Thicke.” She added that she enjoyed the filming initially, but Thicke allegedly became drunk and began acting increasingly rude.

In her upcoming book: "My Body," she claimed Thicke grabbed her bare breasts.

She continued: “He smiled a goofy grin and stumbled backward, his eyes concealed behind his sunglasses. My head turned to the darkness beyond the set. [The director, Diane Martel’s] voice cracked as she yelled out to me, ‘Are you okay?’ I pushed my chin forward and shrugged, avoiding eye contact, feeling the heat of humiliation pump through my body. I didn’t react –not really, not like I should have.”

It's scheduled for release on 19th October 2021.

Reportedly, the incident has since been confirmed by Director Martel when speaking with TIMES. She stated: “I remember the moment that he grabbed her breasts. One in each hand. He was standing behind her as they were both in profile. I screamed in my very aggressive Brooklyn voice, ‘What the f**k are you doing, that’s it!! The shoot is over!!”

Ratajkowski attested to enjoying the filming initially, but Thicke became drunk and began acting increasingly rude.

Diane Martel, who directed the video, has corroborated the allegations to the Times, saying, "I remember the moment that he grabbed her breasts.

However, Martel insisted that Thicke was apologetic afterward. “I don’t think he would have done this had he been sober.” She stated. On the other hand, the ‘Blurred Lines’ song was quite controversial yet ridiculed by most people despite reaching number one on the Billboard Top 40. So far, Thicke is yet to comment!
