John Krasinski has reacted to Amy Schumer’s joke about his marriage to Emily Blunt. A few days ago, Schumer shared her review of A Quiet Place Part II, in which Krasinski and Emily starred as Lee and Evelyn Abbott. She encouraged people to go see the movie and joked that she has said for a long time that his marriage to Emily is “a pretend marriage for publicity.”

“I love every second of @aquietplacemovie even better than the first one, which blew me away, Amazing to be in a movie theater. Although I’ve said for a long time, I think Emily and John have a pretend marriage for publicity. But I still think you should see it this rainy weekend.” Schumer wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post.

For blowing up our whole marriage spot.” He and Emily have been married since 2010 and have two daughters named Violet, four, and Hazel, 7. Before this, the office star had publicly admitted through a Q & A session that they were terrified about working together on a film but claimed he realized that Emily is “the best collaboration of my entire life.”In response, Krasinski wrote in the comments: “Thank you, Amy! For blowing up our whole marriage spot.”
“A Quiet Place Part II” was initially scheduled to premiere in March 2020, but it was postponed due to the global pandemic. The wait, however, has proved to be worth it, especially as The Paramount pictures productions has reportedly become the biggest North American box-office hit since the start of the pandemic. So far, the film has earned over $45million in three days between Friday and Sunday, hovering stunningly close to the $55million it was projected to make during its opening weekend in 2020.
