Now, he's making an appearance as the wise tumbleweed, Sage, because he's made of sage.

Spongebob Squarepants is life and childhood for many of us, so hearing about a new movie is being released soon is definitely exciting. Reliving that childhood moment along with 'The Matrix' star is definitely exciting news.

The trailer to the new 'Spongebob Squarepants' movie has dropped and it features Keanu the wise (tumbleweed).

He is a sage... and we are stoked.

The release date for the movie is May 2020 which is a story of Gary's missing. It began with Spongebob telling the story of how he met Gary when he was a wee-little boy.

But Gary went missing! And now, good friends Spongebob and Patrick have to set off to find Gary, which brings them to a drive to the dazzling casino city of Atlantic.

This May 2020, we'll get a small amount of Keanu Reeves scene.

His name is Sage and he's made of sage. Makes total sense.

Gary has been 'SNAIL-SNAPPED'. And don't we all hope that poor lil' Gary is all alright.

To top it off, Reeves knows that Patrick doesn't mean toaster in Celtic. Can't wait to hear the wise words he's going to say.
