Artist Buys Rights To A Black Pigment So Others Can’t Use It, Gets Trolled

Stuart Semple and the rest of the art world were not thrilled to see Anish Kapoor, the original artist of the Bea- I'm sorry, Cloud Gate, when he acquired the right to Vantablack, the darkest shade of black every invented. We were very excited to learn of this invention mostly because scientists spent a lot of time mixing this and that to get that shade, despite the risks it poses.

In order to fight back, Stuart Semple had his own strategy - releasing the pinkest pink shade ever, called 'Pinkest Pink'. And this is how he exacted the revenge: no one affiliated to Anish Kapoor, especially himself, is allowed to possess the color, which by the way, costs less than £4.

People of Tumblr started posting their favorite Facebook events related to Kapoor’s Cloud Gate without realizing that there’s a bigger picture behind it

However, there was so much more to the story than it first appeared
