There are so many photographers who capture the beauty of nature and amazing things but there are a few who captures the humans, the lesser-known tribes. Jimmy Nelson is one of them. It's not long when Jimmy published his book "Before They Pass Away". The book gave us a look at over 30 vanishing tribes from all around the globe. From Indonesia to Mongolia, the photographer spent weeks with each tribe he captured to learn the culture of the tribe and then capture them from his perspective.
And this year, the photographer published "Homage to Humanity", his second major project. Jimmy went to 34 indigenous cultures in 5 continents, revisiting some places from his previous journey. Jimmy's first work that was the book was a collection of photographs but this time he decided to add something more to it. He added local facts, maps, travel journals, and personal interviews, focusing on the journey itself rather than only the photographs.
The photographer is planning to release a movie featuring 1500 photographs, "all stitched together into one amazing journey across the cradle of human culture".
