Mom Regrets Buying Her Kid A Noise-Activated Spider Toy From Amazon After Learning How It Works

Christmas season is in full glare and online stores are having a field day as shoppers dig in full swing. For most adults, they are on the lookout for nice gifts for their children or nieces and nephew. One mother from Alabama, Hilary Hard,22, was certain that she had found the perfect gift for her son Leo. A scream- activated spider that could capture the energetic toddler for hours. However, curiosity got the better of her and she couldn’t resist trying out the audio-activated arachnid toy.

She uploaded her escapades. On Facebook and the post quickly went viral. “I’m so glad my little man made you laugh and impressed you with his bravery,” Hilary wrote in response. “You can imagine how lucky I am to be Leo’s mom. He’s hilarious and full of heart and I can’t wait to share with him, when he’s older, how many people he made laugh. There’s an overwhelming amount of attention that’s come our way recently and I just want to thank you all for sharing the moment with us!”

The spider toys, known as Yellies! have since increased in price and appear to be selling like hotcakes. Voice and sound-activated, they respond to talking, yelling, clapping, singing, and even music. The louder you yell, the faster they go! Every year there seems to be some kind of ‘must-have’ toy that your children will be demanding, from Furbies to Bratz, we’ve seen them all. Could this be the 2018 version?
