Amanda Bynes.
At age 13, Amanda attained the spotlight after appearing on The Amanda Nickelodeon show. At the time, she also appeared in the TV hit What I Like About You and even played Viola in She’s The Man starring Channing Tatum.
Fast-forward to December 2019, she unveiled a tattoo of a thin black heart on her cheek. After a few weeks, she shared another, a smaller heart above her right eyebrow. During this time, she pleaded for her Twitter rant from 2013, where she had called Drake ugly and claimed the rapper had a disability.
Oriini Kaipara.
Last Monday, the 32-Year-Old TV Presenter made HISTORY as the first ever to present a primetime news bulletin with a face tattoo. Kaipara had got inked in 2017 after discovering she was 100% Maori, the indigenous Polynesian people of mainland New Zealand.
She confidently read the news bulleting on the Nation’s Newshub after being asked to fill in, and as expected, people were left stunned by the moko kauae face tattoo design. It’s widely recognized as a lower chin tattoo traditionally worn by Maori women.
Aaron Carter
Aaron, the younger brother of Backstreet Boy Performer Nick Carter, had a fresh-faced blonde when he became famous. With his different tattoo designs across his body, the singer is now almost unrecognizable compared to the first time he was spotted on TV screens.
In particular, he left his audience battled when she posted his tattoo on Instagram. The ink had shown Rihanna as the Greek Monster Medusa, and under his eye, the ex-child star had the word LOVE written and the name of his on-again partner MELANIE above his eyebrow.
Mike Tyson.
Tyson, nicknamed Iron Mike, sent the internet into a frenzy when he tattooed the left side of his face in 2003. At the time, he shared the tribal tattoo represented his warrior status and had been inspired by the Maori tribe.
It was towards the end of his fighting career that Tyson got the tattoo inked on his face, but then he had even looked threatening without the ink. In 2013, he again left the internet baffled when he joked about getting rid of the tattoo, but it turned out to be an April Fool’s joke.
Post Malone.
The musician’s extreme body modifications came from a place of insecurity. He never liked his appearance! The word ALWAYS TIRED is etched into his cheeks while the word STAY AWAY is above his right eyebrows as a tribute to a Nirvana song. Post Malone had splashed $1.6M having two diamonds fitted into his bling teeth.
Similarly, he has a barbed wire design on his forehead and a sword design on the side of his face beside a medieval gauntlet and flail. Rapper Snoop Dogg had previously shared a throwback pic of Post Malone, where his face wasn’t covered in tattoos, and he looked completely different.
