But some people might find their arrangement quite unusual from most because both of them lead a swinger's lifestyle. Yes, 19-year-old Marley and 33-year-old Gideon often swap partners with other couples as they share about it on their social media.
Since their first time sharing about their lifestyle, the two have often been asked questions about it.
Answering most of the commonly asked questions, the two went viral with more than 3.3 million views on the TikTok video. Captioned "Questions we get asked about being swingers," the two talk about jealousy and health concerns.
"How can you say you love each other?" the first question reads. The couple confidently replied, “Sex with others doesn’t diminish our feelings.”
"What about STDs/pregnancy?" the second question hits.
“Protect ourselves like any single person would,” the couple replied.
The third and possibly most asked question when it comes to letting your partner have a go with someone else is about their feelings. It reads, "How do you not get jealous?"
Marley and Gideon answered frankly, “We do but we talk it through in a healthy way.”
Many were quick to judge on their lifestyle, with one commenting, “Please do not try this unless you want to be miserable.”
The couple was quick to tackle the negative words, “Well we’ve done it. Been doing it and we’re happy…but yeah it’s not something everyone will enjoy.”
The couple also emphasizes that what they're doing might not work for others. But they hope for people to respect their lifestyle as it's what makes them happy.
"We’re not asking you to be like us, just asking you to understand that this is who we are. Normalize other types of relationships," said the couple.
“We’re happy, in love, and enjoy swinging. It’s no different than dating single people as a single person. You just do it together with your partner."
“It’s fun. It’s not something everyone will get or want to do.”
Marley added, “I just make everything fun ok.”

When asked 'how is it like' on living as swingers, the couple replied, “Honestly, nothing has ever compared to this or made me as happy as I am with the love of my life.”
A user commented, “Why be in a relationship if you are just out with other people?”
“We are out together with other couples,” they replied.
Another defended the couple for their rights to live how they wish, “Why is everyone so bitter in the comments? Let them do what makes them happy and move on with your life.”
