The 34-year-old actor is having the time of his life as he's exploring so many new things with his new identity. Elliot Page came out about being transgender just five months ago and revealed that he's undergone breast removal surgery two months ago. Finally able to embrace his true self, Elliot had also cut his hair short to boot!
"I love that I am trans... that I am queer," Elliot wrote in his post five months ago.
Ever since then, Elliot has also spoken up about how his gender identity crisis had always tortured him in the past. The 'Juno' star frankly told Vanity Fair, "The most significant difference is that I’m really able to just exist."
He spoke to Time and recalled how "just putting on a T-shirt cut for a woman would make me so unwell.”
“I was finally able to embrace being transgender and letting myself fully become who I am.”
Ever since the age of 10, Elliot, who used to be called Ellen, would take on female roles in movies.

Her earliest big role was in 'Juno' where she played a girl who went through a teen pregnancy. The indie movie had instead shot her career up with BAFTA and other nominations. Page recalled, “I just never recognized myself. For a long time, I could not even look at a photo of myself.”
Elliot has also broken up with choreographer Emma Portner, his wife of 3 years. The two quietly separated in the summer last year and divorced early this year.
But the two have kept their relationship close as friends.

Thousands of uplifting comments poured into the reply section. Many came from fellow Hollywood stars and celebrities.
Actress Ilana Glazer wrote, "Look a dat handsome boi."
Miley Cyrus complemented his new trunks "Hot" with a love emoticon.
Fellow 'Umbrella Academy' actors were also showing approval of his new swimtrunks! Justin H. Min wrote "Ok, summer-ready" while Justin Cornwell wrote, "Dude I see why you crushed me on that workout!"
The outpouring of support is just beautiful to behold. Elliot is currently filming the next season of 'Umbrella Academy' still as Vanya, a female character!
Elliot also shared how his mother, Martha, urged him to act like a girl when he first started his professional acting career. But she'd been supportive of Elliot's decision to come out as a trans. She even said, “I’m just so proud of my son.”
Martha had thought that she was doing the best for her child to flourish in his acting career.

But now, she's a fully supporting parent on her child's decision. Page said, “She wants me to be who I am and supports me fully. It is a testament to how people really change.”
