Who doesn't love entertaining illustrations that make you smile with just a few strokes of lines? That's what Tango Gao's work of art is like. Tango Gao, whose real name is Gao You Jun, is an illustrator from Shanghai. He's always loved drawing, but entering college, Tango chose to attend the classes of Mathematics Department of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Eventually, he found his passion in drawing. He decided to focus on it by enrolling in the Academy of Arts & Design and working in the ad industry in the '90s. He started drawing these adorable illustrations in 2010 and uploaded them on Weibo. His quirky cartoons soon blew up and appealed to the audiences as they often poke fun at daily oddities and sometimes heavier subjects such as society's obsession with social media.
