Any creative profession takes a ton of failures and rejection to make it. So far, it’s been anything but smooth for Nate Fakes, a full-time cartoonist, writer, and illustrator in Los Angeles, California. Artist Nate does have his unique style of doodling, and they mostly revolve around situational humor, animals, humans, inanimate objects, pun, and ridiculous situations. Nate’s artworks are perfect for a light break amid severe issues and the ideal antidote in brightening one’s day.
Nate’s passion for his harmless yet inoffensive comics started in 5th grade, having participated and won the contest for designing the grade school yearbook. Since college to date, Nate has professionally been working as a cartoonist for numerous newspapers and magazines. Specifically, his gig amid college day landed Nate an internship in New York City with MAD Magazine. An illustration is undeniably a demanding profession, but the best thing about being a solo artist, according to Nate, is the freedom of working for himself. Here we’ve compiled Nate’s latest, and they’re intolerable not to laugh at. Enjoy!

Nate’s past experiences have significantly helped in building his character and thinking outside the box. Nate has done quite well for himself as he presently has a publishing deal for a graphic novel, a thing he had never considered was going to happen. To be candid, it’s an exciting direction and something entirely different from his gag comics. But of course, the artist will shine!

Becoming a good cartoonist is a feeling that needs to grow, and Artist Nate has indeed proved this with his impressive social media followers. Interestingly, he’s been taking criticism from professionals and using them to his full advantage. On the other hand, spending hours creating numerous panels and elaborate stories might sometimes not be a hit as one panel is genuinely just more than enough. With this said, are you impressed with Nate’s sense of humor?
