When most mothers are encouraged to maintain a healthy life schedule because a baby would almost most absolutely ruin that, a mother-of-two has not received a similar treatment. It has been more than six months since Emily Skye, a 35-year-old fitness maniac, gave birth to her second child, Izaac. She hasn't got her figure back, but she's been making time in between her hectic schedule to workout to reach that goal.
The fitness model and entrepreneur vent out on a recent Instagram post on negative comments she's been seeing on her posts.

Unkind comments have made her upset recently, prompting her to write a long caption on the Instagram post.
She began with a series of insults that she's seen a lot and then wrote, "You know what, though? I’d rather it come from others than myself."
"What I think of myself & constantly tell myself is FAR more important than what others think & say to me."
She continued to say that she loves her body and what it has done to her children. After having Izaac, she promised herself that she won't ever feel bad about her own body. If she ever does, she won't the negative thoughts fester and remember how blessed her life is. She continued, " I haven’t yet had to remind myself, though."

The Gold Coast-based fitness guru wrote, "The best way to love your body I think is to appreciate what it DOES for you - focus on that & nourish it with nutritious food, exercise & rest."
She's been regularly posting pictures of her post-partum progress pictures. She has always been candid about her life journey, encouraging followers and especially fellow moms to not give up.

While she hasn't gained her initial figure completely yet, she is by no means feeling down about it. She said, "That doesn’t mean I don’t love my body when I’m not at my “peak” though."
"I truly loved my body throughout my pregnancies, right after giving birth & I love it just as it is right now & will continue to love it for the rest of my life."
In fact, the new role she's got 3 years ago has motivated her even more. She continued, "I have even more reason to since becoming a mother & I want to be a good example for them."

Emily Skye has two children, and her first daughter, Mia, is 3 years old now. Juggling between work, parenting, and business has not been easy for her. She could barely fit in enough time for her fitness schedule, as she had shared in a previous post.
She wrote that she gets 'frustrated' as well when the progress isn't as visible as she imagined it would be. But she learned not to be fixated on that.
"I WILL be fit & strong again because I want to & I’m doing it for myself on my OWN terms," wrote Emily.

"I’m feeling better, stronger & fitter every single day!"

Addressing the negative comments, she learned to just 'let it go' because she knew 'these people are being far from constructive and their only goal is to hurt me.'
"I always try to turn a negative into positive, though, and I’m using them as motivation," she added.
"So thank you nasty people, instead of bringing me down you’ve only made me stronger, more determined & more resilient."
