Thanks to filter, lighting, and experience after thousands of selfies, female TikTok user moldogaa made a video with how her Snapchat photo looked completely different from how she looks like in general. The original sound says, "Just took this photo on Snapchat... I don't look like that." While snickering, The 22-year-old Australian said, "CATFISH!" and made a mocking 'meow' voice.
The viral TikTok video quickly spread like wildfire as women all around the world shares similar 'catfish' pictures of themselves and then a shocking revelation of how they usually look like.

There are now 122k TikTok videos with thousands of them having millions of views. The majority of them show really perfect glam makeup of themselves sitting under the best kind of lighting, snapped from the best angle they know that makes them look absolutely gorgeous.
Then they compared that to the unexpected revelation of their face when they're stripped clean of makeup and the hairdo. A lot of them giggled and laughed uncontrollably as they can't believe how different they look.
