Best friends turned Fashion Influencer Maria Casallenos and
Denise Mercedes where both hanging out when the motivation for their Style 'Not
Size' emerged. The pair, who works together reached a decision to dress up in
the same outfits to see how it would appear, and since sharing their photos they’ve
indeed promoted body positivity.
The two different body shapes, the same outfit concept has
undeniably brought forth dressing adorable and stunning regardless of whatever shape
or size you are. With over a million audience on Instagram, the friends who got
positive reactions from their first post have taken the efforts to a whole next
level.
Both Denise and Maria recently sourced for the same outfits
in size both 14 and 2, before sharing the equally fabulous appearance to the
internet once again. Their latest jaw-dropping outfits have indeed revealed anyone
can feel beautiful always while also garnering attention.
Speaking to BoredPanda,
Denise who plumped herself into a captivating fashion influencer revealed the ‘Style
Not Size’ movement started in early 2019 when she and her friend Maria posed
for pictures wearing the same bikini. ‘It actually did well and people reacted
positively. From there we continued and our followers' count started growing. When
TikTok became popular, we decided to do a fun video and it went all viral,
attracting over 1.5million views.’ Denise explained.
Having come up hashtags to promote body-positive movement,
Denise admitted a lot of women have found their videos quite inspiring. Dozens
of other friends also joined the movement, sharing their matching appearance online
and for both friends, the positive responses to their fashion series remain
the most rewarding part of their work.
Nevertheless, the friends hope their project will convince
already existing fashion brands to re-evaluate how they determine size
