Motherhood is an incredible phase, but it comes with its own
set of difficulties. Raising kids is accordingly a fulfilling opportunity that
entails unquantifiable sacrifices. A lot of the challenges faced by moms go unsaid as
most shy away from discussing the toughest parts of parenthood. But artist
Paula Kaka reached a decision to open up about the good and bad aspects of
having kids through her comics hinged on motherhood. In her four panels or fewer
comics, Paula highlights the extent of emotions that runs through her amid
taking care of kids.
Some of the illustrations also capture her frustrations but greatly demonstrates how much she cares for her kids despite their trouble-making. Paula, who is also known as Common Wild is a mom to children ages one
and four and often feels stretched thin with the inevitable responsibilities. Having
studied landscape architecture, Paula only started illustrating after going on
maternity leave with her first child. Nevertheless, we’ve compiled her recently
released to show you another side to motherhood. Enjoy!
