Once a giant snake licks the lens of your camera, it’s
perhaps the urgent time to get out of the water. But not for the Bartolomeo
Bove, the professional underwater videographer and shark diver who recently
traveled halfway around the world swimming with the largest living snake – A green
large Anaconda.
These giant predators typically reside in murky streams,
swamps, and marshes and majorly found in South America. But for the Formoso river located in Brazil offering crystal clear waters makes it the only spot in
the world where tourists can dive with anacondas.
Certain enough, diving partner – Juca Ygarape and Bove in July
did find of these long creatures lurking in the water – an approximately 23ft
feet long giant anaconda.
Weighing nearly 200 pounds, a viral clip showed the giant
creature flicking out its tongue before slithering away from Bove, who held the
camera. Instead of swimming away and panicked as expected, Bove followed the
largest living snake, focused on getting a better view of the creature.
Nevertheless, Bove’s determination paid off real good as he
managed to capture some of the most incredible clip of the creature – That’s
bravery!
