Doctor Shut Down Ann Coulter So Hard That Couldn't Master A Comeback Response

As the American people are still grappling with the aftermath of the 307th mass shooting in a span of 311 days on November 7th, 2018 elsewhere in Thousand Oaks, the gun debate still graces much of their headlines. This time it was a battle between the National Rifle Association (NRM) and the doctors whom they claimed are weighing in on issues unrelated to their profession.

The NRM released a tweet just hours before the tragedy in California “ Someone should tell self-important anti-gun doctors to stay in their lane,” the NRA wrote. “Half of the articles in Annals of Internal Medicine are pushing for gun control. Most upsetting, however, the medical community seems to have consulted NO ONE but themselves.”

Of course, doctors didn’t take it lightly and in moments medics from all over the country fought back some even dampening the mood with chilling photos from their emergency rooms.

Dr. Morris is among the doctors who were in the frontline in the online Turf that was staged on twitter. Hitting back at the NRM under the hashtag #ThisIsOurLane “People need to see the reality of what we deal with. Too often, we get stuck on the same old philosophical arguments about gun violence,” Dr. Morris said. He was deliberately vague about the details surrounding the photo he tweeted “because it is representative of countless times that this has happened to me and every other person who works in trauma”.

“We are anti-violence. Violence is the real problem; guns are simply a vector. What we hope for is the opportunity to study the problem and apply a sound scientific methodology to making things better.”
