Australia bushfire that has occurred since 2019 has not stopped even up to this second. Just a few weeks ago, on New Year's Day, Jakarta in Indonesia was hit by a flash flood that quickly swept all over the city. Now, Taal Volcano which is known as a complex volcano filled with the lake has erupted in the Philippines on January 12, 2020. This volcano is located on Luzon island shot up ash and steam as high as 9 miles into the sky.
Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) has increased the alert level of the volcano from level 2 to level 4 and has warned that "a hazardous explosive eruption is possible within hours to days." Several towns such as Balete, San Nicolas and Talisay in Batangas have received evacuation orders The ash has also caused Manila International Airport Authority to suspend all flights.
The ash has also settled down on surrounding areas and as it reached the stratosphere, it also began to conjure its own weather, such as thunderstorms. Watch as people snapped some of the most awe-inspiring pictures from the phenomenon!
