Japanese Art Students Steal The Show With Their 'Famous Paintings' Costumes In This Year's Halloween Parade



Kawasaki is a famous Japanese city amidst two other great cities Tokyo and Yokohama. Despite its fame for heavy industries and open-air museums, the city is known for holding one of the most colorful Halloween celebrations in the whole country.

This year was no different, proving its culture, thousands of people poured into the streets wearing their costumes as others watched and took videos of the spooky mod. Among the parading people were students of SFX makeup wizard artist Amazing Jiro who stole the show with their 'thoughtful' costumes.
Together, the six students dressed up as the world's most famous paintings. amidst the excitement, they managed to win most people's attention and took home the main prize of the event, the pumpkin Award as well as 50,000 yen (an equivalent of $4,400)

They chose the works of  Elías García Martínez’s Behold the Man, Pablo Picasso’s The Weeping Woman, Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Vincent van Gogh’s self-portrait, Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, and Edvard Munch’s The Scream.
