Gorgeous Australian Women Struggling To Find Lovers As 'Man Drought' Strikes The Country

Australia has been seeing men drought recently and it's no wonder with the new statistics the Australian Bureau has revealed. In every city in Australia, except for Darwin, there are more men than women in ratio. And due to lifestyle, it's pretty normal for that to happen, considering men die earlier.

Demographer Bernard Salt also explains that occupations can also be the reason for the unequal concentration of men and women.

"Different occupations tend to have men cluster in different areas so you have more men in mining communities, farming communities, in military establishments. Women tend to congregate in major cities where there are universities and hospitals, which tend to favor their skill sets."

Sydney

Head west from Central Sydney for about half an hour and you'll find yourself in Auburn with 141 to 100 ratio of males to females. And about 43 percent of the residents are also Muslims.

Salt explains this concentration of ethnicity due to the fact that "men tend to migrate at a greater rate than women".

Meanwhile, the eastern suburbs are seeing more homosexual couples of more men than women in comparison.

The same cannot be said to Woollahra, where celebrities and executives live, and Castle Hill as there are 100 women for every less than 85 men in the area.

Melbourne

The city areas of South Yarra and Carlton, as well as slightly suburban Balwyn, see potentials for men having higher chances of meeting a good partner. There are 100 females for every 88 males.

The same thing is also seen in the Mornington Peninsula area.

Women, on the other hand, have to head over the western parts around Rockbank and neighboring Mount Cottrell with a peak number of 158 males for every 100 females.

The Rural Areas

If you're interested in either city, don't worry. Rural areas are great for seeking out an adventure and a new love. Salt gives women advice to try taking a holiday in rural areas such as farming communities.

And there is actually one big city where the count of men is higher than women, which is the steaming hot Darwin.

Howard Springs has over triple the number of females as it's close to army barracks. Same can be said about Larrakeyah which is home to the naval base, albeit at a lower ratio.

Canberra area also sees an even more extreme ratio and the median age of the area is very young at 22. Every female can have up to 229 males of choice while close-by Acton sees 86 males for every 100 females.

Remote area in the East Pilbara region which is in Western Australia also sees an imbalance number at 292 males to 100 females.

Richer areas have always shown better choices for the men, such as in Mosman Park and Peppermint Grove in west Perth with the ratio 85 to 100 for males to females.

There are also 87 males to 100 females in Tasmania, Launceston in Newstead and similar numbers for nearby Norwood and Devonport.
