Popular Comedian and the former contestant of ‘I’m A Celebrity’ Freddie
Starr has died at the age of 76 and was found dead at his home in
Costa Del Sol, Spain. The comic and
lead singer of the band ‘The Midnighters’ final heartbreaking message was an
update with fans on his official Facebook account just a few days ago. Freddie’s
posted “Hello everyone hopes everyone is ok? Me yes I’m ok getting tired more
now but otherwise, I’m doing good." He added: "I just have to say
thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the kind comments and
messages it really does mean a lot so thank you to each and every one of you
thanks so much. Freddie."
Freddie was accused of historic sex attack and was hit with a legal bill of £960,000 in 2015. He suffered from health problems and was a chain smoker. The comedian also had a quadruple heart bypass following a heart attack in 2010.
Police sources said there was nothing to suggest the death was suspicious. Starr posted a picture on Facebook in January alongside the caption 'Diet going well!'
