It is fairly impossible to find someone who has never heard the word, Marvel or Avengers. With their last blockbuster series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Endgame was breaking records just during their first weekend at $1.2 billion which includes $350 million domestically. It was a battle between viewers to get a seat during the first week; personally, it was amazing to see the enthusiasm everyone had even when not all of them were hardcore fans. Simply wanting to find closure of a journey they joined and they don't even remember was enough.

Actors usually have a fixed salary no matter if the movie flopped or not. Robert Downey Jr. was not about to sign that contract and instead, prefer to go for backend profit and he was willing to let go much of his fixed salary. His backend profit deal granted him $75 million from Avengers: Infinity War alone.

The movie that began with Iron Man in 2008 changed the lives of so many people starting from Robert Downey Jr. himself. 22 movies later, the main starts that portrayed the superheroes our inner children loved are now high-paying actors, earning millions upon millions of dollars with every contract they sign.

RDJ proposed and signed a unique contract with Kevin Feige, which is a backend profit sharing of the movies. Thanks to that, he earned $75 million from Avengers: Infinity War and previously, RDJ made $50 for the first Avengers movie ever.

The prediction for Endgame does not stray far from beyond $100 million. And this has not yet included all his cameos, his standalone movies, the Iron Man series as well as Age of Ultron.

Among the big three, Thor and Captain America signs similar contracts that promise 5 movies and they first signed their contract in 2010 and 2011 respectively. Both of them renegotiated their contracts to enter the $15-20 million range for Avengers: Infinity War alone. This number does not include their pay for cameo appearances.

Fellow female co-star, Scarlett Johansson is also confirmed to have her new prequel, standalone movie in 2020 has also reported to earn $20 million to reprise the same role. She started with $400,000 with her role as Natasha Romanov in Iron Man 2 and returned again in the first The Avengers with a whopping $6 million.

However, other fellow players of the MCU did not necessarily make it as big with Elizabeth Olsen net worth reaching only $6 million. Yet, it is a big turnaround for these characters since it shows the potential of their talent.

Paul Bettany made it better and is worth $20 million. Paul did only make it into two movies (and maybe the third as well?), however, many people probably expected a better number than that.

However, the overall earnings of the Avengers cast did reach incredible heights, especially for the face of Avengers and one of its initiator, the Iron Man.
