The awareness of the dwindling population of Earth's biggest pollinator is concerning. And if worst comes to it, we will lose a wide variety of plantation and food source. But if some people still think that's not a good enough reason, this picture might be. Wildlife photographer, John Neely, captured an amazing picture of two bees cuddling as they sleep inside a flower. Yep!

Diadasia diminuta actually spends a few hours sleeping in orange flowers called globe mallow (Sphaeralcea). And this behavior doesn't exist in all bees. Several species sleep inside their nest after their shifts or take quick naps.

Brandon Hopkins from Washington State University, “They don’t have eyelids, so you can’t just look for bees with their eyes closed,” “By carefully watching bees, scientists have found that honey bees stop moving their antenna and in some cases fall over sideways.” The shot quickly became viral and loved by many, garnering positive feedback and teach many more about bees (and why we need to protect them!).
