Artist Makes Visually Appealing Art From Litter And The World Is Quick To Follow Suit

Budding artist Dominique won't strike you as the typical sophisticated artist but her great works will quickly strike any eye. Furthermore, she makes art from the litter. Ever since she posted her first piece, she has received positive feedback and has since made it a regular project.

Her journey started when she started picking litter while walking her dog or taking her kids to school and #projectlittercritter has since been replicated worldwide.

Littering is a massive problem that negatively affects the environment and costs us quite a dime. To keep the streets clean, its estimated that 700 million pounds are used in garbage collection and disposal.

We can all agree that if our waste production goes unchecked, it could quickly spiral out of control if it hasn't already. We, therefore, need to ensure that it is disposed of correctly.

Last year the artists took part in a beach cleaning exercise in her hometown Malaysia. In 30 minutes, the team had collected over a dozen bags full of litter from a fraction of the beach. With the help of her husband and kids, she created some of the most visually appealing pieces of art from the litter.
