Lake Michigan has been frozen for the most part during winter thanks to the polar vortex. It certainly gave Illinois city a new look, although it might be too cold for some people to walk around and enjoy the view. Illinois was -23F cold during their worst times. The frozen lake was one view, but as the season moves over to a warmer temperature, the lake began to shift. What's so amazing about this is that the lake now looks like it's growing frozen grass out of the lake.
Several people who braved through the cold winter breeze managed to capture several pictures of this amazing spectacle. The view looks much like a real winter wonderland.
Or maybe, well, when Elsa is just mad that she hasn't yet been given a suitable partner to rule her kingdom. At least, not yet confirmed if she will be getting a partner.
Today, the population around Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee area sum up to 12 million people.

The frozen lake was beginning to melt and the water below the thin sheets of ice began to stir. Because of this, they forcefully moved the sheets and that cause the ice to shatter. As the water continues to move, they cause the ice to move and arranged in patterns that surprise us all.

Photographers have loved to return to this place throughout wintertimes despite the killing temperature. Thanks to the ice that thickly envelope the land as far as the eyes can see.
