Zoo Confirms That The Jaguar Who Attacked A Woman Trying To Take A Selfie With Her Won’t Be Put Down

When a wild big cat with big claws and sharp canines bare his teeth to you or tear through his meals like they were paper, it's quite a clear warning that you shouldn't be messing around with it. The enclosure of a couple of feet high is in place to make sure that nobody is harmed as we enjoy the wonderful sight of the elusive cat behind the bar. But recently, a girl decided that she needs a better shot than a selfie of her and the cat with the fence between them.

Right before closing up, the zoo found a girl who cries in pain after her hand was scratched by a jaguar. The reason? She wanted to get a better shot at the Jaguar and because of that, the big cat scratched. The cat was fine and the girl was brought to the hospital with no major injuries.

The human error that happened here not only cause the cat to be agitated and hurt someone but also teaches us firmly once more than wild animals are put behind the firm fence to keep both the animals and us safe.

The man who helped the woman attacked by the jaguar took a video of her injuries

Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium and Safari Park is located in Litchfield Park in the west Valley.
