You would think that a good deed is rewarded with another good deed, but for this man, a pat on the shoulder or a pay rise didn't come forth; instead, for doing a great job, the unexpected happened- he was fired. Basically, he had a week-long vacation; anticipating his absence from work, he prepared his team and he did it so well that for the 7 days he was not around, the company thought it was better off without him. well, a huge mistake for them.
“It’s actually an old company, so their success is mostly behind them,” the guy wrote. “Titles and structures were created back in their big days.”
All the hard work simply went down the drain and the various processes he optimized was overlooked. However, not being the type to quit, he opened up his own company and just when the business was picking up, he received a call from guess- who?- his ex-employer.
